In 2013 me and Baldur Helgi were going to start designing and producing sunglasses under the studio name HOLYMOLY (both of our middle names are Helgi=Holy). The reason why? Baldur was studying at Tækniskólinn at the time and had access to a CNC machine that we wanted to use for something. So why not produce sunglasses?
This project never got further than these prototypes and drawings of frames which never got filled with lenses. But the best thing is of course to still own these two AMAZING pictures of me and Baldur, looking gloomy in November of 2013, trying out the first (only) prototype of HOLYMOLY “sunglasses”.
